Email list
If you join the Christopher Hannon mailing list, the launch system stores the email address you provide, subscription status, signup time, the consent version shown at signup, and limited acquisition information such as referral source and UTM campaign parameters. That information is used to send the updates you requested and to understand which public channels are bringing readers to the work.
Contact form
If you contact Christopher through the site, the system may store your name, email address, inquiry category, message, submission time and limited referral/UTM information so the inquiry can be routed and answered. A contact-form submission does not subscribe you to marketing email.
Hosting and storage
ChristopherHannon.com is hosted through Cloudflare. The first-party signup and contact system is designed around Google Workspace, Google Apps Script and an access-restricted Google Sheet. Google Workspace is also used to send the corresponding author email. These providers may process technical information necessary to deliver, secure and operate their services.
Analytics and cookies
The site does not require an advertising account or advertising tracker to browse. The launch package does not enable GA4 by default. Cloudflare may process aggregate traffic, security and network information as part of hosting. If additional analytics are enabled later, this notice will be updated before the change materially affects visitors.
What I do not collect through these forms
The current author forms do not ask for payment-card information, date of birth or a home address. Book checkout, when activated, may be handled by a separate commerce provider with its own privacy and payment terms.
Sale of personal information
I do not sell subscriber email addresses or contact-form information.
Unsubscribe, access and deletion
Marketing messages sent through the author list are designed to include an unsubscribe mechanism. You may also request deletion, correction or information about data associated with your email address by writing to Chris@echoes-of-asgard.com.
Retention
Subscriber records are retained while a subscription remains active and may retain an unsubscribe status so an opted-out address is not accidentally re-added without a new request. Contact messages may be retained when they are needed for correspondence, business records, rights management or legitimate project administration.
Security
Reasonable technical and administrative controls are used to limit access. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
